Bradshaw electric vehicles are proud to have a long engineering history of building and designing quality vehicles in
UK. In 1960 Bradshaw began imported the Taylor Dunn range of vehicles and it quickly became clear that many vehicles needed detailed modifications
to satisfy customers requirements. Since then our expertise in design and fabrication has grown exponentially and during 1990 we began building vehicles from scratch.
We now manufacture from raw materials over 50% of the entire vehicle range and 100% of the tow tractor and pedestrian range. This
unrivalled experience in chassis design, electric motor and controller electronics means we frequently get asked to build unique vehicles for
very specific customer needs.
Many of the Bradshaw range feature the latest A~C motor and controller technology that lowers operating costs. read more
Our design and manufacturing teams have built some extraordinary vehicles and this depth of experience means we are one of the leading electric vehicle suppliers is the UK.
Quality Assured by ISO9001
Bradshaw Electric Vehicles has for many years been accredited by the appropriate regulatory body for manufacturing
quality.
Formalised quality assurance originally came from the Defence Industry's need for standards, To supply the Ministry of Defence
(MoD) a company had to document it’s manufacturing procedure, have the procedure inspected by the MoD and then ensure that it’s workers
followed the published procedures. Bradshaw complied with the AQAP(4) standard before the formal British standard existed.
In 1979 when the British Standards Institute (BSI) replaced the first UK standard for quality assurance (BS 9000) with
the BS5750, Bradshaw was already fully compliant.
As a manufacturer of vehicles the quality of the final product is of paramount importance to us and our customers.
The eight core quality management principles that are the foundation of ISO
9001, give the customer confidence in our manufacturing processes and our products. One of the most important core principles is continual
improvement, and this means customers can be sure we are taking vehicle design and engineering forward. This delivers the latest technology
available and the backup to keep the vehicle operational over the longest possible timeframe.
Drew Bradshaw, joint managing director, said,”We are very please that our commitment to quality over many years has seen
us gain accreditation for another year. The considerable investment in time by our quality team working with the auditors, means we are
confident that when the vehicles leave our factory they are of the highest standards”.
