Liverpool Lime Street Station
With Liverpool's selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2008, and the city's 800th anniversary in 2007, Lime Street Station and its immediate surroundings received a £35 million redevelopment. The mainline station is still covered by a vast iron and glass roof dating from the 1880s and sees over 11million travelers each year. We have provided a custom modified FB2 to station operators Network Rail for mobility assistance on the station. The FB2 carries seated passengers in safety and comfort and can carry a wheelchair using an integrated slide out ramp

Brighton Station - First Capital Connect
The First Capital Connect (FCC) south coast terminus is Brighton station, it was built by the London & Brighton Railway in 1840 and has a magnificent large double-spanned curved glass and iron roof covering the platforms. FCC contacted us wanting a vehicle to refill drinking water on trains while they are at the station. Our solution was an FB2 with large stainless steel water tank with pump and hose reel. This provided an ideal solution for the task in a potentially busy pedestrian area. The FB2 has outstanding manoeuvrability and load carrying so can be readily adapted to almost any task, as this example clearly demonstrates.

Terminal 5 Heathrow - OCS
OCS provide a range of services to the transport industry, one of these is assistance for passengers with reduced mobility. Heathrow Terminal 5 has an area of over 350,000 square meters (50 football pitches) and the capacity for 30 million passengers annually. OCS worked closely with our design team to create and build a purpose built people mover that met the extremely strict passenger safety and comfort standards of the airport authority and OCS. The result is the AV6, a 6 person people mover with a narrow chassis design, all round enclosure and door-movement interlocks

Luggage Trolley Collection @
BAA Heathrow
London Heathrow International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe handling over 68 million passengers from over 90 airlines.The five terminals on the 12 square kilometre site cover an area of over 500,000 square metres and within this are 10,000 self-help luggage trolleys. This is the scale of the logistics task faced by the trolley collection teams.
We have supplied a T6 tow tractor and 5 PCM tow tractors, all with custom made trolley linkages.
The T6 tow tractor can tow 6 tonnes and provides the ability to move a great number of trolleys in one operation, removing health and safety issues and greatly improving efficiency.
The PCM500 is a small but powerful pedestrian tow tractor that can tow 500kg and can turn within its own length, making this a compact, "go-anywhere" tow unit to collect numbers of trolleys from the remote locations.

Balfour Beatty / Carillion- East London Rail
Balfour Beatty Rail Projects and Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering, in a 50/50 joint venture are responsible with Carillion for the new East London rail line involving track, signaling as well as major civil engineering works. As part of this project a vehicle was required to deliver de-icing fluid to the trains. Our solution was the use of a FB2 flat bed vehicle with stainless steel tank and pumping equipment. The 1700kg load capacity and excellent manoeuvrability made this the ideal choice for this task.

Food Distribution@
DSB- Danish National Railway
Danish National Railway approached Bradshaw with a food distribution problem. Trains waiting in the station needed food containers, similar to aircraft style mobile boxes, to be loaded onto the trains. The station had an access roadway built between and beneath the platforms so the problem was to collect the boxes from a central food handling area and transport them to the platform and raise them to the train level.
Our solution was a custom built vehicle, the FB6, with a hydraulic scissor lift fitted to a platform. THe platform area has two access points so loading and unloading can occur on either side. Our design team worked very closely with the Danish Railways team to design and build a Vehicle that met all the operational and safety requirements for this very specific task..
