Making the Special, Routine

Bradshaw Electric Vehicles has a long history of building custom vehicles from the design stage through to production of individual vehicles or production run quantities.

For any bespoke vehicles our design team gain a thorough understanding of the requirements of the vehicle and its operating environment at the start of the project.
Once this has been established the vehicle will either be a base model with custom modifications or a ‘from the ground up’ design and build.

Our design team has over 75 years of design experience to bring to any custom vehicle project, and using the latest CAD design tools enables the customer to see a detailed view of the vehicle at each stage of design before building starts.

The base models in the Bradshaw range are undergoing ous research and development so any custom project will incorporate the latest technology in batteries, chassis design, axle configuration and motor controller developments.

Our build team are very experienced vehicle assemblers having built many standard and custom design vehicles.

Inevitably we draw on the expertise of other specialist companies to supply or manufacture some elements of our vehicles. These are UK based, wherever possible, and are subject to the strict inspections and controls.

Gerard Lambert
A vastly experienced vehicle engineer who has overseen many custom build projects and has introduced many of the design and technological changes that now constitute the modern electric vehicle.
Steve Sissons
A recent addition to the design team Steve brings with him over 30 years experience in many areas of mechanical engineering. His experience and knowledge of vehicle design strengthen our design and development capability.
Peter Charity
Our design draughtsman with 20 years experience in electrical and mechanical engineering design. His skills in AutoCAD and Solidworks bring vehicle ideas into mechanical reality.
