Cardiff Fish and Tips
Cardiff County Council have returned to Bradshaw to supply four new custom built electric rubbish collectors. In addition each vehicle was fitted with a reversing audible warning in English and Welsh and LED flashing lights front and rear to ensure complete public safety. The advanced ac drive systems of the vehicle allow the operator to keep the vehicle under full control while moving and the automatic park brake ensures the vehicle remains stationary, even on a slope, when stopped. Bradshaw Prison Stretch
When the UK Prison Service approached Bradshaw via a local dealer requiring a special narrow long vehicle, we replied ‘no problem’. The chassis of a standard PCF6 was reduced in width to just 700mm and extended to meet the load requirements and to fit through doorways. A twin wheel front axle was also fitted to give extra stability to the new chassis. The overall width was carefully designed to allow for the hinges that were required for the drop down and removable sides. Click on the image to enlarge
