According to figures provided by the Health
and Safety Executive, injuries involving muscles and joints
account for around 40%
of all reported ill health, and manual handling injuries cause
30-34% of all reported injuries. Bradshaw Electric Vehicles’ new
range of vehicles is designed to eliminate manual handling tasks
in the hospital environment.
The vehicles have a choice of body options, and tow brackets
available for all manual trolleys, allowing the vehicle to be
used with existing equipment.
Safety features include fully adjustable working height for
the controls and an anti-pinning system to prevent people getting
trapped between a wall and the vehicle. A remote control option
is available for safe and easy operation through swing doors,
minimising structural damage.
Danish trolley mover
The PCM800 can move up to two full Danish trolleys smoothly
and efficiently. The powerful 400 watt motor and large drive
wheels deliver more than enough power to manoeuvre heavy loads.
Power is nothing without control, and the electronic speed
controller and simple tiller give the operator fingertip control
of the load.

The Bradshaw Electric Vehicle Model PCF5 is a new powered trolley
for transporting general goods. An extremely adaptable powered
platform, it can be configured to suit many requirements and
can handle loads up to 500kg.
The powerful 300 watt motor, with on-board charger, makes this
compact unit ideal for most busy logistic environments. Safety
is assured due to:
• electromechanical brakes
• electronic speed controller with high and low speed settings
• emergency isolator
• horn
Simple controls and a turning circle of only 1500mm make the
PCF5 a highly adaptable and manoeuvrable load carrier.
Minimal servicing is required for all Bradshaw vehicles, and
