According to figures provided
by the Health and Safety Executive, injuries involving muscles
and joints account
for around 40%
of all reported ill health, and manual handling injuries cause
30-34% of all reported injuries. Bradshaw Electric Vehicles’ new
PCM800 is designed to eliminate manual handling risks.
The vehicle brings speed and efficiency to moving plants by
reducing the number of trolley journeys and the possibility of
back injuries.
The PCM800 can move up to two full Danish trolleys. The powerful
400 watt motor and large drive wheels deliver more than enough
power to manoeuvre heavy loads. Power is nothing without control,
and the electronic speed controller and simple tiller give the
operator fingertip control of the load.
The vehicle is part of a new range from Bradshaw, all of which
have a choice of body options, and tow brackets compatible
with all manual trolleys, allowing the vehicle to be used with
existing equipment.
Safety features include fully adjustable working height for
the controls and an anti-pinning system to prevent people getting
trapped between a wall and the vehicle. A remote control option
is available for safe and easy operation through swing doors,
minimising structural damage.
Minimal servicing is required for all Bradshaw vehicles, and
they are supported by a 12 month or 1000 hour warranty. Bradshaw
Electric Vehicles also guarantees a 24-hour response for parts
and labour throughout the UK.
Free driver familiarisation is included in the cost of the vehicle
and Bradshaw also offers a free site evaluation to determine
which vehicle is suitable for the task and environment.
